20260310: CloudRouter Product Upgrade Announcement

Dear CloudRouter users,

CloudRouter will undergo system upgrade and maintenance on March 10, 2026, 20:00 - 22:00. This upgrade will roll out enhancements to enterprise-grade tenant management. Service may experience brief interruptions during the upgrade, so please plan ahead.

1. New "Tenant Administrator" Role

Enterprises can designate a tenant administrator to independently manage the users, quotas, and usage within their tenant, without relying on the platform administrator, greatly improving management efficiency.

The tenant administrator can independently:

  • View and manage the list of users under the tenant
  • View user-level Token usage details
  • Monitor the team's overall resource consumption

2. Tenant Unified Resource Pool

All users under a tenant share the same resource pool (balance/quota), eliminating the tedious process of purchasing separately for each user.

Key changes:

  • The tenant balance is shared by all users, with unified allocation and unified billing
  • Quotas are managed uniformly at the tenant level
  • Resource usage becomes more flexible and centralized, reducing management costs

3. Use Cases

This feature upgrade is suitable for:

  • Enterprise teams with multiple members that need to manage API usage uniformly
  • Organizations that want delegated management and less involvement from the platform administrator
  • Technical teams that need team-level usage visibility and cost monitoring

Upgrade Impact

  • API calls and console access may be briefly unavailable during the upgrade
  • Existing account data and configurations are not affected and will be automatically restored after the upgrade completes
  • Existing tenants require no additional action; the new features can be enabled in the console once they are available
